![]() ![]() I'm DONE! and Corel can just keep my money!Īs I can see I'm FAR from the only frustrated costumer, who just got FED UP with a program full of glitches (Videostudio 2018), and a support that feels like an eternal loop of trial and error!!! All because Corel has a rule that says “They don't pay refund before the problem is found”. So I am still having this extremely frustrating issue and there is no end in sight. I phoned customer support and they said there is nothing they can do. They then de-escalated the issue to the second person who did not know how to solve it. They told me to read a wikipedia article about fonts to educate myself and that it wasn't their job to spend days trying to find my issue. I asked them to clarify and ask what I should do. The third person did not watch the video, told me my problem had to do with something that was unrelated. He took a video of the issue and escalated it. The second person helped me with a remote session for over an hour but was also unable to solve the issue. The first person gave me a few things to try and none worked, so he escalated it. I have been dealing with support for 15 days. One computer has no issues, the other has an issue that has been extremely frustrating. I upgraded my Corel from X5 to 2018 on two computers. Now you have lost me as a customer and I am having to rate you a one star for terrible service. No empathy for customers who need to get the software up quickly. I have been a long-time customer (8 years or so), and this is the first time I have dealt with their customer service. This should have been dealt with quickly. Called Corel Customer Service, gave them the artifacts showing payment to solve the problem. Okay, looked at my PayPal account and it is clear the invoice was paid. I went online to download a copy of the VS 2018 and their system said awaiting payment from PayPal so I couldn't get a serial number. 6 weeks after I bought the upgrade, my computer crashed and bought a new one. It allowed me a download and gave me a serial number (I guess real time). Upgraded from Corel Video Studio X10 to the 2018 version.
